Dear Richard:

For big frames, try to get to Steve Willis's shop in Scotch Plains NJ. Steve and I ride about the same size (63 cm) and what isn't his in the shop may be mine. I think NJ transit trains come fairly close to the shop but you probably would need an afternoon to get out there.

I will be traveling to NYC (Manhattan) next week on business and was wondering where I might find a nice "on topic" bike shop to visit. This will be my first trip to the Big Apple. I don't know how much time I will have to kick around but would like to see some of those old bike shops I'm always hearing about on this list. I would like to find one of those large vintage frames I'm always on the look out for...if I'm lucky. Please contact me off list if you have any ideas.
