I checked the archives and there is still no definitive answer on whether Matrix tubing sets are equal in specs to SL. Does anyone have a final answer on that??

Matrix was a cheaper set, welded I think prior to butting process. Slightly heavier but more importantly having a theoretically deader and less resilient ride characteristic than the SL/SP/SLX. etc. The consequences of all this was that builders used Matrix in their lower models, those having commensurately fewer deluxe features and craft details....
