According to one of the Reynolds links posted earlier, 531 Professional replaced 531 SL. I think 531c replaced 531 Professional. Not sure of the exact differences between these three tubesets.

Why is 531p never listed on the charts...and it doesn't seem to be talked about at all. Does anyone know (or have a site that discusses) the difference between 531c and 531p?

indicates that Reynolds 531C weighs more than Columbus SL. So much for this cyclist's opinion!
