Well we are back to the size of balls bit, 1/8" ONE EIGHTH are used in most Brit headsets, PLEASE correct me as I am sure you will if I am wrong. My 1954 Hetc MagOpus (thanks Pete) has a headclip was built for one has the splt in the steere tibe, this DID use 1/8" as have all my other frames.
