Subject: [CR] Silent Auction: success and calling those who did not get their stuff...

There was so much stuff at the Cirque auction this year that we tried something new: a "silent auction." In this game, we put out a bunch of stuff for auction, with a sign-up sheet that gave the starting bid and bid increment, and the % donated to Operation Smile. Bidders just wrote down their names and bids until the auction closed. It was a bit chaotic, but we have something like $330 in hand for Operation Smile - and we aren't done yet!

In the confusion, several folks did not pick up items they won. I'd like to swap the buyer's cash for the Stuff. In particular, Ben Sanford (S/A stuff), Ken Wallace (if you want more of the Huret shift levers, other bidders if Ken doesn't), Richard Cielec (or did you pick up the donated IKU speedometer/odometer?), and Mark St. Martin (NOS Zeus under-saddle sew-up carrier, in box). Please get in touch with me at your early convenience.

a particular thank-you to Chuck Brooks, John Crump, and all the others who made 100% donations of some very nice Stuff.

thanks
