You have had several replies to your problem and all appear to be very helpful . I just wonder why the subject of worn neck bones has'nt been mentioned and could be a possible cause to the discomfort you are experiencing.
I have experienced a similar discomfort as yours for twenty years since being diagnosed with a worn neck bones and this has led to periods of numbness in my arms, leg and feet . Throughout the years I've have sought regular osteopathy treatment which thankfully has kept my problem under control with no worsening effects to date. One's age I suppose can be a factor and this is another consideration as with me now 76 years old.
Hope you find some help and a possible way to overcome your problem. Good luck anyway ,do'nt give up!
