the response from the sell if it was either a peugeot or de rosa. "The first listing was based on my knowledge at the time. I re-measured the frame several times, and found the actual size to be 55 cm. Then someone pointed out a discrepancy with the make. Because the bike bears no identifying marks or decals of any kind, I was foced to use the actual shape of my frame as a reference (i.e. tube shape, tapering, lugging) when researching it. The De Rosa frame is almost identical to mine in this manner. Nevertheless, the De Rosa's most distinguishable feature is heart cut-outs on areas of my bike that have been replaced or customized. Therefore, it is possible that I am mistaken. Regardless, my bicycle is a high-quality chromoly frame with top-of-the-line shifting and braking."

so, somehow knowing about the hearts, and noticing that this one didn't have any still wasn't enough to conclude that this bike isn't what they claim it is. and instead deduced that the hearts must have "been replaced or customized" because they are not there like they should be. O.o

LoL. my honda civic is really a porsche 911 turbo, but some parts have "been replaced or customized", that's why it looks like how it does-a honda civic.
