Interesting bike..

http://ebay.com/<blah>

The seller is unnecessarily guilding the lily here. The bike is *not* 1973...more like 1975, not that this should make any difference to anyone, although it does, to some..note the smaller, crisper flower in the lug-tang, the larger graphics on the dt, the 126 spacing..all suggest a frame made after the introduction of the Mexico in 1975. Very nice bike, in any event. If it sells for the opening bid-price, it'll be a bargain, imho. At that price, it'd almost be like getting the parts for free, and all the parts look original to me. Or plausibly original, anyway.

Maybe the market has softened for these..but try finding one like this in original paint, and see how long it takes you.. and Molteni orange no less! It'll be interesting to see where it ends up. I'm glad it's not my size, is all I can say. One can never have too many of this vintage of Colnago..<g>
