The Sachs 6 is pretty much a 5-speed with an added cog, in other words, I think it's just 5-speed spacing. I had an Ultra-7 on my 126 mm Masi (yes, it was cold-set!), then when I tried to replace the SunTour with a Sachs 7 there was inadequate chain-dropout clearance, even with a 9-speed chain. Ended up going back to the Ultra-7, a Winner Pro if I recall. I do love the way those Aris teeth pick up the chain! Who needs indexing?
They also made some 8-speed freewheels.

I have a number of Sachs Aris 6 speeds. My favorite FW, aside perhaps for Zeus. But I don't know if these were standard spacing or compact. Not sure I ever tried to mount one on a 120mm frame, and I usually use Sachs or Sedisport chains with them, so chain width is not an issue.

No, I think I have a Sachs 6 somewhere.
