I don't think I have heard anyone mention the movie called 2 Seconds. It's
about a woman Pro Racer who gets the boot from her team and becomes a bike
messenger. While there are some good racing moments, the real highlights of
the film take place in a great little bike shop in Paris that is run by a
crusty old retired racer who is seriously into a CR type thing with vintage
racing bikes. His pride and joy was a great looking bike called a La Grigia
(Looks like a Masi to me)...is there really a Grigia bicycle? At any rate,
it is very much in the tradition of the bike films we occasionally get into
discussing. I rented it from Netflix.
