If this description of DeRosa of Pozzuli is indeed true :

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/bik/366802882.html

These frames were hand-made in Naples, Italy by De Rosa of Pozzuli (D.A.P). They were made by the brother of the more famous De Rosa (Ugo De Rosa) who lives in northern Italy (Milan, I think). De Rosa's father started the business a little over 60 years ago (at the conclusion of World War II). The two brothers split about 40 or 45 years ago with the one brother (Ugo) staying in Milan and the other brother moving to Pozzuli (a suburb of Naples). Both brothers' businesses were about equal until Eddy Merckx rode the DeRosa of Milan's bike to victory in the late 60's/early 70's. The rest is marketing history.

Then it's very interesting what proper marketing and a "bend over backwards" attitude can do for one's bike business !!! i wonder if these frames are much (if any) different than Ugo De Rosa?
