I find this sort of stem useful for helping people get the right fit. http://harriscyclery.net/page.cfm?PageID=49&action=details&sku=SM2874 The 2 bolt clamp makes for quick bar changes.

Me too. It was probably used on a couple dozen tandems, then I'd make them custom stems based on the adjustments.
