Dear CR List Members,
I'm starting to sell off some projects that I will never get to....
I have one brand new still in the brown paper wrapper,N.O.S. Swedish
made,CRESCENT PEPITA PROFESSIONAL with Campagnolo drop outs.
Frame size measures 56 CM. square.......Seat tube is 56 cm. center to
center and top tube measures 56 cm. center to center.
I do NOT have the fork or a suitable fork for this frame.Color is
orange.Has Reynolds 531 decals.The frame wrappings are still mostly
intact.
The previous owner got it as a warranty replacement way back when and
never built it up.The frame appears to be early 1970's vintage like
shown on the CR website under SWEDEN.
He didn't remember what ever happened to the original fork.
I bought the bicycle about one year ago,from the original owner in
Washington DC.
It's presently hanging in my basement.
>From list members that I've talked with it appears to be the top of the
marque, steel frame.
Crescent did make a stainless steel frame,this is NOT a stainless steel
frame.
It HAS A REYNOLDS 531 DECAL ON THE SEAT TUBE and Campagnolo rear drop
outs.
I do not have any pictures posted of the frame.
I've been reluctant to remove the brown paper wrapping,to take photos.
I thought I would ask $320.00 for the frame only,plus shipping.Let me
know what you think.
I figure a repaint and decals alone are at least the cost of the NOS
FRAME (no fork included).
I have not been able to find any completed auctions on ebay for this
bicycle frame and I've checked for quite awhile.
I do NOT know the threading on the frame.
I'm the second owner.Frame is NOS still in the wrapper.Size is 56 cm.
with the usual black and white checkered decals.
I can send pictures to seriously interested parties.
