Mitch, I have been running these modolo pads using modolo Pro's and Mavic MA2 for thousands of miles. I detect NO wear on the aluminum rims whatsoever.
My track bike has a modolo on the front with these pads, and the newer Mavic rims with machined sidewalls. I detect NO wear on the aluminum rims whatsoever.
Both are silver rims I should add. Have you (or anyone else ever seen them wear a rim down?)
If you get off list ansewers on removing the pads, could you let me know? Mine are worn down and it is time to put a new set in. Thanks Dan Kasha Seattle, Wa - and was a perfect riding day today.
