Rich, The Benotto tape came in two versions, a thin one and a thicker one with chamferred (is that the right word) edges similar to the later Bike Ribbon soft tape. Both versions were without glue. The thicker tape fits also in the year 1984 were it was extremely popular especially with those upcoming aerobikes. But to keep it on topic, the tape was already produced earlier of course. If you need son´me let me know....

I think the beautiful Blue bike that found it's way over to my garage is

an 84 Guerciotti (either the GLX 7700 or GL7500... cant tell exactly from the catalog spec).

The original owner installed Shimano aero brakes, which left the original Campy levers and white hoods in NEW condition ! So I'm eager to do the switch.

One of the models in the catalog comes with the White tape mentioned in the subject - anyone know of a source for it today ?? I think the Benotto would be a thinner alternative ??

Thanks
