The Jubilee FD is very fragile. Trek spec'ed this unit on the 720 model back in the early 80s. The assemblers must have broken hundreds of them during assembly prior to boxing -- I can remember boxes of them sitting in the scrap bins. Marketing finally decided to switch to a Simplex Super LJ FD instead -- no more problems.
