I can vouch 100% for David Taitano Jr.'s character and honesty in dealing with customers. I have had half a dozen transactions with him, both on Ebay and in person. He and his Dad are the brains and brawn behind San Diego's #1 used bike shops, Pedal Pushing and Ye Olde Bike Shop and Cafe. BOTH of them have a reputation for NEVER taking the high road on price and NEVER taking the low road on service. I have recommended them to literally hundreds of people at my workplace, over and over.
The Rene herse tandem is a pretty famous bike, it has been on display at Ye Olde Bike Shop for a couple of years, and I have seen it in person and it's beautiful. I think some CR list member will be very lucky to win that bike.
