I've checked out the frame as best I can from the various shots on the Wooljersey site, and John has done a good job of taking shots of all t his parts of the frame that might give away the frame's identity.
The lugs, bracket, drop-outs , fork crown etc are pretty generic, and mu ch used by many builders, but the combination of all of them in one frame, complete with what I take to be a Haden crown, possibly a Zeus, and the sho rt plated top eyes, make it very much like an MKM, the Dominator model in p aricular, as MKM would produce a "stock" frame or a frame about which the c ustomer made no particular preferences.
Another alternative is that the frame is a "Crown". This was a model of frame produced by the Cyclo Gear Company in the late 70s at a time when it was trying to diversify. It is probable that Cyclo did not build the frames , but subcontracted that process to someone such as MKM, who did a lot of O EM work for other companies. A company called Cleminsons Agenvcies also had produced a range of similar frames. My guess is that if the fork crown is a Zeus, thre frame will have beenan "MKM"...but if the crown is a Haden the n the frame will have been produced, probably by MKM, for one of the other two companies.
If there is a frame number somewhere, this might help to firm up the cho ice.
