I have a pair of D-A center-pull brakes, which have polished up very nicely, and now, far exceed the finish of both the first, and second, D-A side pulls in my "collection."
And yes, from all I have found out, Shimano did simply rebadge the existing Tourney centerpulls as Dura-Ace (I have no Tourneys to disassemble and compare).
