Matteo is a good guy. My dealings with him have been flawless. He is also a fine host, and knows his way around the happening cocktail hours of Florence.

Buyers might want to bear in mind that things Italy and not pathologically convenience focused as they are here. Matteo does not hop into the Navigator that's parked in his driveway, zip down to a 24/7 Mailboxes etc with free parking, and ship out his wares. He's lucky if the post office is open, there's no strike, and the person he deals with does not tell him that he can sell him stamps, but can't take care of his parcel. One's sense of urgency can't help but be diffused by this situation, which is to the good, IMHO. Yes, this is a generalization, but I think it is an accurate one, and is not presented here as a fault with Matteo or his beautiful home country.
