Hey Barry, Sweet ride!! I had a 1973 (V) GC repainted in the Samo team color just like yours...can't help w/ the serial # as mine wasn't original. Have you checked the fork steering tube stamping?? That will give the mo/yr ...it would be very interesting to see if the same prefix/suffox is present!
