"Does anyone have a good closeup photo of the downtube "Raleigh" manufacturer ID decal that would have been on frames in the 50s and maybe early 60s? This is not the italic block letters with a line in the middle of each stroke, so common in the 60s, 70s and 80s -- it's script or calligraphy style, upper & lower case, probably solid color. The crummy vinyl Helvetica Bold Outline "Raleigh" on my mid-80s frame is peeling off, and I'd like to replace it with something more elegant, that would go better with the model name on the top tube. I've got some pictures of my 1971 Raleigh International. It has the font that is more like script, and definitely not like the block letters that were introduced a couple (few?) years later. It's definitely more subtle than the block letters, and pretty much invisible by modern standards. :-)
