New web-site:
WE'RE BACK, http://www.cafedevelo.com.........Just wanted to let the list know that our new web-site will be up and running next month, mid to late October..........................we'll start small and build up the offerings as we move along. Many have been asking what happened to Renaissance Cycles? Let' say our provider in the Netherlands wasn't delivering. Charging for phone calls, any and every phone call. What's up why are we down, oh we have a problem on our end..........Their fault and we're still paying out the $$$?????????. Since we're more known here now as Cafe de Velo, we'll go with that for now to get our website up again.
Road trips:
We were off to Europe this summer and it was a great trip! We now have a 40ft sea container on the way........And we're now trying to make room for this ANIMAL! Those of you who have visited.............will know what we are dealing with.............Lots of goodies.
Velo Rendezvous:
For those who will be passing through Santa Barbara to attend Velo Rendezvous 7......and who would like to drop in for a visit.............we'll be here Wednesday through Saterday 12:00 - 6:00 pm. The coffee will be flowing.........Cafe de Velo 615. E Gutierrez (805) 966-6510 YES! We now have regular hours (Kinda!).
One other note: Several old customers have been asking when will we be making our next CR list offer? We may soon again. On our former offering..........We've decided to move this product in bulk form. Do we sell a few Cinelli stems @ $ 15.00 a pop several here and there or do we move 2000 pieces @ $ 13.00 a pop. THIS IS A NO BRAINER! MOVE THE 2000 pieces, so we did.
Several have said in the past we're taking on tooooo much and we probably did. Hard work for a few years. End result, we're now set for the LOOOOOONG HAUL. And If my kids find it hard later on down the road..........They'll have this as an option. We still are taking on a lot but loving every minute of it..........doing it here in Santa Barbara....I, we wouldn't have it any other way.
