Subject: [CR]FS: Peugeot PX 10 frame, NOS rims.

I am clearing some things out of the basement and offer the following for sale to the group:

-a Peugeot PX10 frame, circa 1970, 57cm CTC seat tube and 57cm CTC top tube. Original white finish with black Nervex pro lugs, finish is in reasonably good shape with a few chips and scratches. Has chrome on fork tips and rear stays. Reynolds 531 transfers in French are flaking off but will include replacements (repro). I will also include a headset. So far so good. The bad news is that someone cut off most of the gear hanger on the RHS Simplex end in order to try and make it into a fixed gear machine. I will include a similar complete Simplex end that you may be able to repair this with (by cutting off the gear hanger on the good end and gluing/soldering it to the damaged one). Someone has also fitted a Shimano 1.37 X 24F fixed cup to the RHS of the bottom bracket (I am not sure how this was done), but this is good and solid and there to stay. I would like $120 for the frame. Postage costs for the frame are $46 CA, $61 MO, and $65 NY.

I also have for sale the following NOS tubular, sew-up rims: 36 hole: Nisi Corsa Stretta grey, Ambrosio Corsa Synthesis (pair), Fiamme Black Label, Mavic GL330, and Mavic Pista. 28 hole: Mavic GP4 grey (2 pairs), Ambrosio Synthesis Durex grey, Mavic CX18 grey, Mavic SSC grey. 24 hole: Super Champion Competition (pair)

The price for a single rim is $12 and for a pair, $25. However, postage is expensive, for example, a pair of rims is $24 CA, $29 MO, and $31 NY. A single rim would probably be only slightly less, but several rims would not be too much more. I also have a single used Conloy Asp 27 X 1 1/4 rim, 32 hole, for $20 plus postage. PayPal is preferred on all items. I regret that I can not supply any pictures of these items but have done my best to describe them accurately.

Many Thanks,
