Eric is correct, there are two part numbers 8001 and 8031.
Fast Tak (also Fast-Tak) is part of family of Fast Tak contact cement adhesives that 3M makes. Note the spelling.
The part numbers above are now the last segment of the part number, but still commonly referred to as such.
8001 is a do not use in my book, dries brittle.
8031 is what we used decades ago, still avail. google 3M Fast Tak and it comes right up, lots of options to purchase.
Now some notes...
The formula for this stuff today is not the same as it was 30 years ago, so test. Fast Tak has been advised as wrong for tires, and I would state that I would not use it on a road tire, no retack as with "traditional" tire cement, but that stuff has also changed. 3M will advise you NOT to use it.
There has been anecdotal comments about how it adversly effects base tape to tire casing bonding, in my experience what was happening is that upon tire removal, the bond to the rim was stronger than the bond between the base tape and the tire casing. Test, don't guess!
I would also ask to make sure that at least 75% of its "shelf life" is avail. to you upon purchase, the VOC's are now much lower so while it may be better for tire base tapes it is less tolerant of maintaining its full strength upon application of old stock. Way back there was a mfg. date, now there is a use by date.
