You get a full custom road bicycle, handcrafted by a group of men with some
of the most experience building bicycle frames on earth. We hand selected 9
bicycle framebuilders based on quality, craftsmanship, reputation and artis tic impression to build a 1 of a kind bicycle frame that each builder will contribute a small portion to the overall frame.
The frame will be custom fit for the winner and each lug and joint will be detailed by one artisan. Imagine having a 1 of a kind bicycle that has over
290 years of combined experience that handcrafted it. Imagine the details o f the hand carved lugs. Imagine the ultra smooth finish with the color of you r choice on this, the ultimate handcrafted bicycle. Would you ride it? Would you place it behind a glass box for all to look at , but none to touch? The possibilities are endless.
Legendary framebuilders like Brian Baylis, Roland Della Santa, Doug Fattic,
Bruce Gordon, Tom Kellogg, Andy Newlands, Mark Nobilette, Richard Sachs and
J.P. Weigle have all decided to work together for this one bicycle, a bicyc le to benefit a great cause.
The concept is quite clear. Never has a group of artisans have worked together in this manner, yet they have all decided to contribute to this on e of a kind project bicycle. The proceeds will benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Raffle tickets are $20 each or 12 for $200 with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity. Drawing will be held at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show on March 3rd at 4 PM. Winner need not be present to win, but, if they would like to be fit for the frame and meet the builders in attendance, is always a plus.
Tickets may be purchased via our website, handmadebicycleshow.com beginning
