charlie, I'm not sure exactly what you're responding to. Plus, I was originally only talking abotu the effect of BB height on the ease with which the bike tilts, as illustrated by a broomstick. I wasn't talking about the totality of forces that might hold a bike or a uni up (regardless of year!!). Better engineers than I, such as Jim Papadopoulos, are apparently still working on that.
