Given that there have been a number of less than stellar comments on Guerciotti frames regarding liveliness (or deadness), I'll throw in a positive review.

Mine is a probably late 80's, dusty rose respray, no tubing transfer and block lettered seatstay caps. Acquired as a frame only with 130mm rear spacing, I fitted a Tange full chrome sloping crown fork first and later a full chrome Guerciotti fork from the Baron a few years ago. Built as a mutt (really a mutt) but climbs like a kite and descends very nicely. One of my best handling road bikes and, if the transfers had been correctly placed on finish (not the top tube) and the multinational componentry didn't mesh so nicely as is, I'd probably have a top end build on it. In this case, I guess it doesn't matter whether a subcontract builder put it together out of Aelle or Tretubi SL or SLX, it is a goer.
