Not that the future of the universe relies on any of this, but
bear with me for one more moment: Didn't all Grand Jubilé
frames have the phrase "Grand Jubilé" painted on the top tube?
(As in he picture I posted this morning.) That should make
things simple...
Anyway, all the ones I've seen did. Then again I've only
seen silver ones "in the flesh". As for parts, I no longer
know what to believe. Because when I went to my box of "Grand
Jubilé" parts, expecting to find only Huret and Stronglight
drive train pieces, I also found an SR crank with Motobécane
embossed on the arms and a set of Suntour VGT derailleurs. I
don't really know howthey got there, but they must have come
off of _some_ Grand Jubilé that was briefly in my posession.

> My 1976 (I think) Moto pamphlet has the Grand Jubile in red
\r?\n> and the Grand
\r?\n> Record in black (both also available in silver). The
\r?\n> pictured red G.J.
\r?\n> looks very much like the frame in question. The pix of the
\r?\n> bikes show
\r?\n> nearly identical frames, tho' the triangular 531 sticker is
\r?\n> just visible on
\r?\n> the G.R. Specs for G.J. say "Reynolds 531 double butted,
\r?\n> forged tips."
\r?\n> G.R. is "Reynolds 531 double butted tubing throughout,
\r?\n> Campagnolo tips."
\r?\n> G.J. is spec'ed with Stronglight & Huret or SR & Suntour
\r?\n> drivetrain. G.R.
\r?\n> is, of course, TA and Campagnolo.
