Hmmm. If I understand it correctly, you pointed out to him something that made his item worth more. He then relisted it. I might agree that he was rude or inconsiderate not to thank you, but I wouldn't call it dishonest for him to relist the item. Perhaps I don't understand what it is that is dishonest.
