Hello Don,
From what I understand Cinelli would paint frame whatever color you wanted. Former List Member Jim Narlesky told me he had Lilian Wolfe send in a piece of a Clement sew-up box in order for Cinelli to match the blue color. I have seen afew orange Cinellis. My wife has an orange Mod B, its been repainted to match an orange Cinelli Pista. I have a orange 1956 Riviera but its Simplex equiped.

It has what looks like an original NR gruppo. The handlebars have "Cinelli" etched in a kind of old knight's script style that rises from left to right on the forward edge of the handlebar on the rider's right side. The seat cluster looks like some old Cinelli's I've seen. I didn't get back into the repair area, so I couldn't get a look at the underside of the bottom bracket.
Question: did Cinelli make any orange models during the Campy NR era and if so, what models might have been that color?
