It's quite simple, Amir, no picture needed. Back when those fittings were used, pumps had connector hoses. The male threaded end screwed into a hole in the bottom end of the pump and the female threaded end screwed onto the tire valve stem. I think the thread on the Presta valve was the same as the Woods valve because the pumps worked on both. The hose was stored in the pump handle, so both ends of the pump had a female threaded hole. The conical tips of the pump pegs fit into these holes and held the pump when it was compressed.
