Subject: [CR]1999 SCHWINN PARAMOUNT LUGS!

Dear CR members,

I some of you might be interested in knowing about this:

I just scored the remaining inventory of the Match Paramount lugs. These

lugs were designed by Tim Isaac, and used to build the last incarnation of

the Schwinn Paramount (R.I.P.) 1997-1999-ish. These are the very last of

these lugs; when they are gone, they are gone for good.

These lugs are super sexy (subjective I know) and give new meaning to the

phrase "bikini-lugs". The lugs are very easy to braze up. But because of the

small amount of surface area, I would suggest brazing with brass for a

little extra strength. The seat lug has no cast in binder but I will include

a braze-on style type binder with the lug set. The TT angle is 74*, ST angle

is 73* and DT angles are 59* and 61*, and sized to fit standard OS sized

pipes.

I also have the seat stay plugs we used at match for the Paramount frames.

They have a cast in counter-sink for a blind binder bolt and work with 14mm

single taper or 16mm double taper stays. They also slip nicely into the ID

of a 16mm stay if you wanted to use them that way; it gives a very seamless

look! If you need more info on these please do not hesitate to ask.

I was tempted to hoard these and sell them at a premium because of the

finite nature of the supply. However, after discussing it with a good

friend, have decided to turn these as quickly as possible and use the $$$ to

design and build more Pacenti Cycle Design proprietary products.

That is why they will go for the blow out price of $40.00 per set. Or $49.00

with the seat stay plugs.
