Howard, When I had to move a bunch of wheels, I skipped the use of boxes. I placed them (with skewers in place) in close fitting garbage bags, which gave enough protection from one another to make the journey safely. This way, the garbage bags gave way to interlocking of axle and q/r ends, only where I wanted them to, and then stayed put since they were sort of held in position by the plastic surrounding the push or poke holes. They work well lying down on top of the rest of your load, or taking up floor space standing up. The bags were still usable afterward for larger pieces of garbage, empty bottles (if you have a returnable system in your state), etc. Hope this helps!

Please help a desperate guy.

I am moving and am faced with getting about 30 wheels and 10 rims to Kinsman Ohio. I work at least for this week at a bike shop and have Bike boxes. I am putting tires or inner tubes on the wheels and rims and using zip ties to keep track of the quick releases.

It seems that I can put 3 or so in a bike box but am anxious. How have you guys done the deed.
