One of the more shocking things to me in reading this article: http://www.hadland.me.uk/page35.htm was the second paragraph in the "SunTour's pricing policy" section. Of c ourse I always knew there was bike biz OEM, Gruppo and individual compon ent pricing (necessary for the business.) After the fact, it is revenue SunTour lost out on.

In the archives, is the dicussion of the Jose Diaz days in the 80s, when he was bringing in OEM stuff sold as groups cheaper than Campy USA sold them wholesale. Took Jose a while to run out of inventory and finally f ade away. I would like to have one of his all Campy, what was it? Battli gans (archives are down.)
