I have nothing to add as to needing a "Price Guide", but out of all these posts about "Price Guides", I like this one by Jon, the best (see above).

My feelings are that if you are into our hobby, significantly for the money, perhaps you would need to be more careful about buying. But if you buy because you think it is really cool, and it makes you happy just to look at it or ride it, YOU CAN'T LOSE! I too like to get a "real deal". However, I don't mine paying more than "going prices", if my admiration and desire is great.
