That's a very stylin' bike imo.

It was mentioned on the forum that the crankset looked cheap, too cheap perhaps, but I see that it jibes with the modest Shimano 60 componentry and reflects the marketing and sourcing sensibilities of the maker at that time and place. I would almost hate to see it upgraded to a seemingly-appropriate better gruppo. I've kept the same crankset and derailers on my Viscount and I have to say it's all proven durable over a couple of thousand hard miles. As well, it gives the bike a distinct look, well apart from any, almost "cookie-cutter NR" approach to restoration.

Again, very sharp bike!
