you might recall that on a TA 5-pin crankset, there is usually only one ring that actually gets bolted to the crankarm.. the other rings are attached via the big ring.

so, no, i don't think they made a track specific crank.. but yes, they did make rings undrilled for other chainring attachment and specific to single-ring applications in both 1/8" (3mm) and 3/32" (2mm) widths.. i'm pretty sure the ones for 1/8" chain are marked with a '3' (for 3mm width)
