Is this correct ? Richard, I think you're correct, but I've never seen these cranksets sold in a box with any sort of label. Basically, you had to buy a kit, selecting each piece separately. So sometimes you just have to call the whole thing "Cyclotouriste" because that's what so many people call it. Like the Campagnolo Nuovo Tipo hubs - which everyone simply calls "Tipo" - it's technically incorrect, but outside of places like the CR list, it's not worth getting into the sort of didactic stuff. Plus, as was discussed on the list recently, TA produced this really baffling array of chainring configurations. I'm always learning about configurations I've never seen before - sometimes I actually get to hold them, sometimes I see them on eBay, other times I just read about them on this list. All of these configurations made sense at the time they were produced, even if we're confused by them now. I think the situation is a bit simpler with their 3 bolt and Tevano cranksets, but I don't know for certain. Cheers, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
