I believe that Gene Portuesi imported them in the early 1970s. I gave one to Lou Deeter last year for his son, and If I recall I may have had a sales brochure for it, too that I sent him. Gene used these as the premium bikes for his racers, those with less money and ranking tended to get the Donicelli bikes, which he also imported.
I believe that the top line model of Liotto cost in the $400 range and was considered very much a top tier Italian bicycle.
Seems like they also used lugs very similar to Masi Specials of the period.this from an admittedly imperfect memory.
