This recurring question reminds me of folks who move next to an airport, and then start to complain about the noise!
One thing about the 1983 cutoff (to tail-gate on Lou Deeter's comment) is that a review of the archives that it (now?)appears that there are absolutely TONS of bikes that were built in 1983!
