Dear CR list and Hilary Stone, Hilary wanted to know if there were any differences between a COLNAGO SUPER and a COLNAGO INTERNATIONAL model, like the one he is currently selling on ebay. I owned one several years ago and sold it at the Cirque to Mark Poore. The parts that came on it were all pantographed with ERNESTO COLNAGOS name like everywhere!!!Most parts were OFMEGA if I recall correctly. The parts were not up to the level found on a Super and at the time I recall seeing an advertisement in a USA cycling magazine with a sales price a good bit less than the Colnago Super of the same time period. The frame you currently have on ebay is a PRISTINE EXAMPLE of an INTERNATIONAL.ebay Item number: 130168917819.From what I remember the drop outs were not CAMPAGNOLO, marked dropouts on the COLNAGO INTERNATIONAL MODEL,but then at some point it's possible the dropouts on Colnago Supers may just say COLNAGO.The frameset,Hilary has with new CAMPAGNOLO RECORD headset and a new Shimano bottom bracket in NOS condition seems like a very good value to a COLNAGO collector who rides that size frameset. You certainly do not see many framesets where the chrome and the paint from that vintage look factory fresh.I think you'll have little problem meeting reserve. It's not me size, but it's the same color as the one I sold to Mark.I never did ride the International.I'm curious also to hear from the real Colnago experts if there was any real differences between the two above mentioned models by Colnago. Yours truly, Marty Walsh in Vienna,Virginia,USA
