Anyone have a list of what Phil Wood BB's are the best fit for the most common classic cranks? I've usually done this by trial and error, or by checking the Phil BB on another bike with the same crankset, but this is a pain, as it usually involves removing crankarms at the minimum. I know that most classic cranks take a Phil BB which is offset rather than symmetrical, but has anyone complied a list of the specific Phil BB's recommended for the major classic cranks, i.e.: Campy NR/SR double Campy NR triple Various Campy GS doubles and triples Ofmega/Avocet double and triple. Stronglight double and triple TA Cyclotourist double and triple TA Professional 3-arm double and triple Zeus Competition/Criterium/2000 double Mavic double Early Dura-Ace double Early Deore double and triple SunTour Superbe and Superbe Pro double

Further: "If you install an ISO crank on a J.I.S. spindle, it will sit about 4.5 mm farther out than it would on an ISO spindle of the same length. [and perhaps too far out to be securely seated.]
"Conversely, if you install a J.I.S. crank on an ISO spindle, it will wind up about 4.5 mm farther in than it would on a J.I.S spindle of the same length."
