Thats right Peter. Would nevere consider spending 3500 for a bike I ride, let alone a wall hanger. Funny thing though, I did almost exactly that just last month, and for an eye-talian bike...with metal gear levers at that, campagnolio, how utterly common.

f.w.i.w. I considered both the blue peugeot and especially MY new-to-me bike "well-bought" seriously how often do these gems show up? In the face of the seller's remorse over parting with my purchase, I promised him first right of refusal should I tire of being the bike's "conservator" - pretentious as that may sound to an avowed franco-phile.

Also f.w.i.w. I'd gladly swap any one of my three big 63cm PX10's for one thats closer to 60cm and (for me) more ride-able. Just because I wouldn't have to worry about mob attention when I take it out. heh

All sniping aside, the blue Peugeot caught my eye early on but I'd already blown the rest of my budget for the year. Hope to see that one in person someday.

Regards to all,
