It's great to see you on this list, and welcome to the area, Charles! I followed a link to your blog and really appreciate the nice words that you wrote about this part of the world.

I don't mean to speak for the list owner, but as what Dale calls a "Keeper of the Flame" I think you definitely belong here. What you're building is on-topic by definition.

As you say about owning classics, I feel that way about being a randonneur and a framebuilder. I might be able to do either if I put in more time on my bike and more hours burning steel, and less time reading and dreaming about them.

And yes, I've gotten to say "it wasn't retro when I bought it" plenty of times myself.
