there r some awesome shops in pdx never return from portland without shipping a box of bikey stuf home
sellwood(sellwood neighborhood)mostly used never know what might show up there
bike central(downtown-lots of nos stuf from eai)
the recyclery(all used stuf-interesting treasures to be found, bought a box full of misc small pats fer $20 lst nite, ifn yr willing to dig n get greasy-a late 30's or early 40's era fillet-brazed schwinn wood rims, and a few other tasty bikes here n there)
city bikes-both locations-the annex has lots of used parts-sometimes real treasures and usually cheap
velo shop downtown(9th n oak, mosey on into powells a blk away) is fixed headquarters-some nos track stuf
and of course theres some kof builders here sacha white/vanilla cycles andy newland/strawberry tony periera and more some of whom r willing to let ya nose round the shop call em and see whats up
have fun peace sarahgibsonkansascity

Hi List,
I am traveling to Portland later this week and would like some advice on neat, old, crusty and musty KOF bike shops in the general Portland Oregon area. Within 50 miles of city center.
Much Obliged!
