Just because the seller suggests not to fit it to a bike; I know a good number of collector/riders here in SoCal that wouldn't bat an eye at jud icious and ocassional use of such an item.
Our good buddy John Waner regularly rides esoteric machines on our vinta ge rides, along with a good number of other regulars out here.
I would not be suprised to find that 50% of the people who would buy suc h an item might be inclined to buy it to complete or become part of a ri der-collectable bike.
