Patrick Schils was the importer of Merckx frames into the UK from the 1980s until a few years ago. Joseph Schils was his father. His business is now known as Interbike and he sells frames under his own name Schils... Patrick's own career overlapped Merckx's by a few years and they are I think good friends.
