I have the following rather special bike for sale:

Grandis Special 1983 56cm

Offered for sale is a classic 56cm ctc 1983 Grandis Special road bike with a 55cm ctc top tube. This bike is in excellent original condition and has had just one owner from new. It is in almost perfect condition - it is exceptionally original only the brake levers have been changed and the original sprint rims have been changed for a pair of high pressure clincher rims. And I think the down tube transfers have been replaced. The paintwork has no marks of any significance and the chrome plating is in excellent condition. It is a very beautiful with lots of lovely details - the seatpin, handlebar stem and chainring have been beautifully pantographed. The frame details are simply gorgeous - look at the stunning curved seatstay bridge, the flush mounted front brake allen nut, the engraved fork crown and the head tube engraved with the Grandis name. And the long spearpoint extension from the bottom bracket shell onto the down tube. The standard of workmanship is really exceptional - the the lugs have wonderful crisp edges with lovely precise cutouts. It is built from Columbus SL. Grandis are very underrated; the standard of workmanship is absolutely top notch. They are an old established (since 1965) family firm based in Verona - this bike\u2019s first owner was from Verona and it was bought direct from the company. The current range and details of the company can be found at http://www.cicligrandis.com/pag/storiaEn.asp This bike is fully equipped with Campagnolo Super Record equipment (except for bottom bracket which is NR) and it is all in excellent lightly used condition. This will make a stunning show bike which is also equally good to ride; it handles really nicely. If this was truly my size I would most definitely have added it to my own collection...
