That's a very cool bike, and those Dugasts as well as the neat Wolber covers are very desirable to boot! I'm curious about how the bike was dated to '72 if anyone has some insight to offer.

One of my eclectic collecting "credos" is to keep no more than one bike each of road and track for any particular marque so unless I just can't help myself at the end of the auction, this bike will go to another lucky collector/rider. In fact, I sold off a Carlsbad-Masi Pista last year because it was redundant to my Reg Harris Masi. It was a hard thing to do but it helps to keep the size of the stable manageable.
